Accor to open first fully digital hotel in Northern Europe
Accor has unveiled its first fully digital hotel in Northern Europe. Accor is touting operations at Ibis Styles London Gloucester Road as a quick, safe and easy guest experience, supported by technology.
It aims to provide a fully digital experience for guests including contactless solutions at various points during the stay such as online and mobile check in, payment, digital F&B services and Whatsapp customer service. It also includes the ‘Accor Key’ – a digital key solution.
"This is not about robots or faceless technology, this is about the smart integration of innovative, customer-facing technology at pace and at scale," says Carla Milovanov, SVP Customer Technology Services, Accor.
