AccorHotels confirms Paris as next site for new brand

Sunday, 06 Apr, 2017 0

AccorHotels has announced the opening of a hotel in Paris, the second under its new brand concept JO&JOE.

It says the hotel will ‘blend the best of the private rental, hotel and youth hostel formats’.

The first JO&JOE property is due to open in May in Hossegor, a resort in south west France north of Bayonne and Biarritz that’s popular with surfers.

The Paris hotel will open in the second half of 2017, close to the Paris University student residence district in Gentilly, a suburb of the French capital.

It will have 569 beds, a bar restaurant for up to 150 people, a large indoor garden and green terraces.

Reflecting the brand concept, Accor said it will feature open spaces and a ‘seamless’ indoor-outdoor design that encourages mobility and exchanges between ‘tripsters and townsters’.
