Advantage agency Wellington Travel folds
Long established independent ABTA travel agency Wellington Travel has collapsed.
ABTA said the Aldershot-based company had ceased trading and could not meet its future liabilities.
The business had been running for more than 50 years and was recognised as the only independent agency in the Hampshire town.
Any retail claims arising from the failure of Wellington Travel will be handled by CEGA, ABTA’s claims handling partner.
“ABTA understands that Wellington Travel was a member of Advantage,” a statement said.
“If any principals dealt with this company on the CAPS payment system they should contact Advantage Travel Centres Ltd in the first instance.”
