Advantage and Travel 2 in “multi-faceted†US travel promotion

A promotion designed reach 4.5 million consumers will encourage people to book holidays to the US through Advantage Travel Centres agencies.
Advantage members will be the sole call to action for the promotion which runs until the end of the month featuring unique itineraries created by Travel 2 in conjuction with the Arizona Office of Tourism, Nevada Commission on Tourism and the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority.
A dedicated website has been set up featuring destination information from the tourist boards, Travel 2 fly-drive itineraries and details of Advantage and how to book.
There will be email alerts to 605,000 consumers; adverts, editorial and a competition on the World Travel Guide website (1.25 million visitors) and the TravelPromos website (240,000 visitors); search engine marketing and optimisation; social media, blogs, forums and podcasts; window point-of-sale material; offers on Advantage’s www.loveyourtravelagent.com website; and features in Advantage’s consumer magazine.
For each booking an Advantage member makes by May 31 they will be entered into a draw to win a place on a fam trip to the region.
Advantage sales and marketing director Colin O’Neill said: “This multi-faceted promotion will help drive business to our members and provides them with a unique collection of itineraries designed specifically for the promotion, ensuring they have a real point of difference.”
