Advantage business agents in Amadeus self-booking deal
Advantage Focus Partnership has agreed to offer Amadeus’ self-booking tool to its corporate clients.
The UK consortium of independently-owned travel agencies has struck a multi-year partnership to resell Amadeus’ managed travel solutions for corporations.
Advantage Focus Partnership will offer Amadeus e-Travel Management as an integral part of its online offering to corporations.
The agreement builds on an existing partnership and gives the Advantage agencies a solution to increase online adoption among their corporate customers.
The deal involves ongoing training and support workshops and services to ensure maximum adoption is achieved from the outset.
Advantage business travel director Norman Gage said: “Over the past months, we have seen an upturn in requests for self-booking solutions and we expect this trend to continue in the months and years to come.
“In an increasingly competitive marketplace, our Focus Partnership customers won’t settle for anything less than the most advanced technology to help manage their booking process online.”
Head of Amadeus e-Travel UK Klaus Goddard said: “We are delighted to have extended our relationship with Advantage Focus Partnership and to offer them a cutting edge self-booking solution for their corporate clients.”
The latest version of Amadeus e-Travel Management was released in December.
