Adventure company expands UK/Europe team
Adventure travel specialist G.A.P Adventures has appointed Gareth Hamilton as UK/Europe marketing manager.
The operator said Hamilton will “develop and maintain preferred agreements, expand the company’s partner portfolio, deepen consumer brand recognition and identify strategic online and offline alliances both in the UK and Europe”.
With a PR background, Hamilton first joined the travel industry as tour manager for educational travel company ACIS before joining the Global Adventures Project, a division of the American Institute for Foreign Study, as operations and marketing manager.
He then briefly worked in new media as project manager for U-Dox, developing film projects, websites and content, before joining G.A.P Adventures.
The operator said this would be the first in a series of appointments in the EMEA.
