Adventure tour operator On The Go Tours has hired former Scott Dunn chief financial officer Julian Ghinn in the same role.

Ghinn will report to managing director Carl Cross.

Most recently, he worked at fashion retailer L K Bennett and at homeware retailer Cath Kidston.

Of his new role, Ghinn said: "I am delighted to be joining On The Go Tours at this exciting time in the company’s development.

"The recent investment by Alcuin Capital Partners and the leadership by Carl Cross of a young and talented management team has set the business up for strong growth in the various markets it serves and I am looking forward to supporting them during the next phase of the journey."

Cross added: "At a time of great growth and investment we needed an experienced and steady set of hands to help us unlock the business’ potential and that’s exactly what we’ve found in Julian.

"He’s a great fit for the company and we are delighted to have someone with such experience in the industry join the team."
