Adventurers will kayak across New York State…
British expeditioner Richard Harpham and fellow adventurer Glenn Charles are to kayak more than 500 miles across New York State to promote the destination.
The expedition, which ends on May 21, is being followed in a special dedicated website, www.thespareseat.com which will provide information, photos, video and blogs throughout the journey.
New York State Division of Tourism UK PR manager, David Gale said: "We see this as a great opportunity to showcase what New York State has to offer. It will be an amazing experience for the people who will join the expedition and for the communities that the expedition passes through along the way."
The New York State Spare Seat Kayak Expedition is also offering two lucky competition winners the chance to join the team for three days in the spare seat followed by two nights in the Big Apple.
