Aer Lingus launches seat sale to mark new routes
Aer Lingus is offering one-way fares of £199 from the UK to New York and Hartford, Connecticut, via Dublin.
The discounted fares are available on bookings before midnight on Monday (August 15).
The airline is expanding its network by going daily with its direct flights from Dublin to Newark from September 1 and four flights a week to Hartford from September 28.
It currently flies to eight North American cities with connections from 19 UK airports, including Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Flights allow passengers to clear US Customs and Immigration in Dublin.
