Aer Lingus strike averted
A threatened pilots’ strike which would have hit Aer Lingus flights from tomorrow (Tuesday) has been averted.
The dispute centred on terms and conditions for staff at the carrier’s new base in Belfast.
But after 20 hours of talks over the weekend agreement was reportedly reached on a deal whch is subject to a ballot of pilots later today.
