Aer Lingus strike called off
Aer Lingus has managed to avert strike action by its pilots threatened for this week.
It said following extensive engagement with pilot trade union IALPA-IMPACT over the weekend, the threat has been removed.
Thousands of customers had already changed their travel plans to avoid the strikes.
“Customers who have already changed bookings to another date, may change back to their original planned date of travel if they so wish via aerlingus.com,” said the airline.
“Aer Lingus apologises to its customers for the inconvenience caused to them by the recent uncertainty over our scheduled operations.”
