Affordable Car Hire launches online training platform
Affordable Car Hire has launched an online training platform for agents to demystify car rental jargon and boost its trade sales.
The free programme is on its website, www.affordabletrainingacademy.com, with five different modules to work through – Car Hire Terms, How to Book, How to Sell, USA Car Hire and Customer Support.
Completing all five modules and taking each test takes about 20 minutes in total.
Product from Affordable Xtras will also be uploaded to the Affordable Training Academy.
CEO Angela Day said: "What we’ve traditionally found is that once agents have had some training on car hire, their conversion rates are a lot higher. For example, when agents complete our online webinars, their training conversion is around 70%.
"A lot of people are scared of the jargon that surrounds the car hire product. Our new Affordable Training Academy aims to demystify the jargon and make it easier to understand and therefore sell."
Affordable Car Hire also does tailored weekly webinars and ‘pizza lunches’ for agents to meet the Affordable sales team.
