African Pride launches small escorted tours
African Pride has launched a selection of small escorted group tours for UK clients following requests from agents.
The four tours, which will be led by a member of tour operator’s reservations team, are open to a minimum of six people and a maximum of eight depending on the itinerary.
African Pride said agents have put in requests on behalf of clients wanting to travel to Africa with ‘a premium experience’ but also with the reassurance of being escorted throughout.
General manager Liz Hall said: "We have seen an increase in requests from agents for us to operate our own fully escorted small group tours appealing to those of their clients who wish to travel to Africa with us but not independently.
"We have four tours departing this year and have more planned for 2017 to be released later in the year.
"Should any agents have small groups that would like to have an individually crafted tour, then we are very able and willing to do so. This is a growing market and we are pleased to join with our agent partners to service this demand."
The tours for this year are the 19 night ‘South Africa in Springtime’ tour departing September 19, ‘Zimbabwe Highlights’ for 11 nights departing October 10; ‘Wonders of Ethiopia’ departing October 30 for 15 nights and ‘Rwanda: Gorillas & Volcanoes’ departing November 14 for 10 nights.
