Agent booking site plan by Dot2Dot
A dedicated web portal booking site for agents is to be developed by London airport transfer service Dot2Dot.
The plan was unveiled as the company took on David Gibbs, formerly with Travel2/4 and Travelport, as sales director.
Dot2Dot, part of the National Express Group, provides door to door transfers between 600 central London hotels and Heathrow/Gatwick.
Gibbs said: “We are fully committed to the trade as an important part of our multi-channel distribution.
“We highly value our agents and trade partners, and with the forth coming launch of a dedicated web portal booking site for agents, we hope to simplify the booking process as much as possible for them.
“The portal will allow agents and trade partners to offer the Dot2Dot experience as part of the added value service which they offer their clients, whilst immediately earning their 10% commission when booking.”
Managing director Paul Whitfield said: “Although only launched in November last year, the Dot2Dot proposition is developing at a fantastic rate as we continue to make airport transfers increasingly enjoyable and cost effective for Londons visitors and commuters.
“David’s appointment comes quick on the heels of our expansion into Canary Wharf residential and corporate markets and we’re confident that with David taking the lead on our sales strategy, the company can only continue to grow from strength to strength.”
