The Travel Network Group is to hold an overseas conference for its homeworking members for the first time.

The two-night event will be hosted at the Sao Rafael Atlantico Hotel, near Albufeira in the Algarve on November 20-22 2019.

All 120 homeworkers of Independent Travel Experts (ITE) have been invited to attend.

TTNG has hosted previous conferences in the Midlands and last year on-board the Sunbourn Yacht in London.

Chief operating officer Lisa Henning said: "Taking the team overseas is a true reflection of how successful this business has become, and I hope that in some small way it shows how much we value our homeworking colleagues and that we truly appreciate their membership with us."

She said that with the support of Jet2 Holidays the company had looked at destinations that would be a short flight from the UK and had good quality hotels with conference facilities.
