Agents offered new outlet for access to non-GDS products
About 5,000 US travel agencies will soon be able to access and book in real-time the availability and competitive rates of more than 20,000 properties in PlacesToStay’s online hotel inventory.
That development follows AgentWare’s announcement it has reached agreement with PlacesToStay, the online hotel reservation program owned by Ireland’s FEXCO AllTravel.
Said Tim Wright, FEXCO AllTravel’s head of distribution and business development:
“With AgentWare’s focus on providing agents with seamless access to a wide range of travel products, it’s clear that this deal with extend their overall product choice and sales opportunity.”
AgentWare specializes in providing agents with seamless access to non-GDS product suppliers such as low-cost airlines, as well as enabling the integration of agents’ non-GDS booking technology and back-office functionality with the major GDS systems.
