Agents to star in ABTA marketing campaign
ABTA launches its Travel with Confidence marketing push today as it looks to showcase the professionalism and knowledge of travel agents.
The first phase of the campaign will feature 30-second ads on Capital and Heart Radio that will promote the security of booking a package with an ABTA agent and highlight the expertise of consultants.
A second phase will feature agents talking about their services. More than 30 ABTA members submitted videos for inclusion in the ads that will run on social channels, including Instagram and Facebook.
Content produced by agents will also appear on the association’s social channels.
ABTA Director of Communications Graeme Buck said: "2020 has been a year like no other for the travel industry. But after everything the industry has gone through, what is clear is the value placed upon travel professionals – their experience and expertise – which is what we’re celebrating in this year’s Travel with Confidence campaign.
"As more people start to think about planning and booking a holiday for next year, the Travel with Confidence campaign will remind people about the importance of looking for the ABTA logo and the extra benefits and value of booking with an ABTA member."
