Agents urged to attend PATA event
Agents are being urged to attend a meeting in London with key travel industry representatives from the Asia Pacific region.
Almost 40 suppliers, including hotel chains such as Hilton, Marriott, Langham and Dusit International and the tourist boards of Australia, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Tasmania, Sri Lanka, Samoa and Fiji are due to attend the PATA Exchange.
Organised by the Pacific Asia Travel Association, the event is free to UK agents and other industry buyers and is being held on March 16 at Australia House.
Agents and buyers will be able to schedule appointments ahead of the day, providing an opportunity to meet many of Asia Pacific’s key sellers in one manageable forum.
Tourism Australia UK and Europe general manager Rodney Harrex said: “For Australia, we see the PATA Exchange as a great way to bring the diversity of destinations and experiences from the Asia Pacific region together so that agents, operators and product buyers can engage with the suppliers face to face in the one location.”
PATA Exchange takes place on March 16 between 11.00 and 18.00 and will be followed by a drinks reception.
