AIME 2010 Master Class programme announced
MELBOURNE – Reed Travel Exhibitions has re-appointed event management company Event Planners Australia to manage the AIME 2010 Master Class programme.
One of the key themes this year is the effect of the Global Financial Crisis on the meetings and incentive industries and the strategies that have been employed to add value for clients.
Two Master Classes, How to get more bang for your buck, and Stand out from the crowd – innovation in a downturn, will include panels of industry experts speaking about the strategies, creative techniques and original thinking required to survive.
Creativity and its importance in themeing and catering will also be addressed in another two Master Classes, The thicker the smoke the thinner the talent – top tips and tricks of themeing and Turning water into wine – creative catering on a budget.
The popular topic of marketing will feature in another Master Class, Marketing to win – results focused sales strategies, where an AIME panel will discuss why traditional marketing techniques don’t work in the tough meetings and incentive industry.
They will share their experiences through case studies of successful campaigns.
The key issues of sponsorship, technology and the green revolution will be tackled on the second day of AIME Master Classes.
With corporate sponsorship of meetings and events reported to have dropped by more than 50 percent, the AIME Master Class will address the issue of How to win sponsors and influence people.

Professionals in the environmental field will discuss whether being green is still a driving force behind corporate purchasing or not, in Is Green a buzz word or a business essential?

Master Classes on entertainment and incentives make up the programme.
AIME 2010 will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, March 2-3.
