Air Astana fleet boosted in 2022

The Air Astana fleet expanded in 2022 with three additional Airbus A321LR jets.

Low cost unit FlyArystan also increased its fleet by three Airbus A320neo aircraft.

It expects another Airbus A320neo before the end of the year.

The Group’s fleet now consists of 42 aircraft.

The Air Astana fleet including FlyArystan will grow by an additional six aircraft in 2023.

Three new widebody Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners will be delivered from 2025.

Air Astana’ flies international and domestic 42 routes and FlyArystan has 34 routes.

This year Air Astana launched new regular flights to Heraklion and Bodrum, and has resumed flights from Almaty to Bangkok and Beijing.

Next year Air Astana plans to open flights to Medina and Tel Aviv.

Air Astana has carried over 60 million passengers since its launch in 2002.

By the end of the year, the airline expects to carry more than seven million passengers, up 12% on 2021.

Air Astana’s net profit for 10 months in 2022 was $65 million.
