Air Astana launches new temporary Frankfurt route
Kazakhstan carrier Air Astana will launch temporary flights linking Atyrau in western Kazakhstan to Frankfurt starting on 3 February.
The weekly flight will operate each Wednesday on Airbus A321 aircraft.
The route was brought in as a replacement for the suspended scheduled service from Amsterdam to Atyrau due to restrictions imposed by the Netherlands.
Return tickets starts from €1,082 in economy class inclusive of airport and other charges and are bookable at airastana.com.
The airline is asking people to familiarise themselves in advance with airport and on-board safety measures, and quarantine requirements upon arrival in both Germany and Kazakhstan.
