Air Astana postponing most flights
Following lockdowns of Kazakhstan cities Almaty and Nur-Sultan, Air Astana is suspending most flights until April 15, 2020.
The suspension will also apply to Air Astana’s low cost unit FlyArystan.
Air Astana Group international flights will continue only for the purpose of repatriating Kazakhstan nationals and allowing foreign travellers to leave the country.
Limited domestic services will run as long as possible to get customers home.
Customers can rebook or request route changes up until the end of 2020, although it advises not to inundate helplines at the moment.
Customers should only contact the reservation centre no earlier than 72 hours before departure in order to prioritise the most urgent requests.
Refund requests can be made by contacting [email protected] or filling out an online form on the website.
