Air Astana updates Nur Sultan flight schedules
With the closure of Almaty Airport, Air Astana Group issued an update with its current operating schedules.
As of 10 January, full service carrier Air Astana is operating international flights from Nur- Sultan to Frankfurt, Moscow, Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Dubai, Istanbul, Phuket and Antalya, Turkey.
Domestic flights are operating from Nur-Sultan to Aktau, Aktobe, Atyrau, Oskemen, Shymkent and Uralsk.
LCC subsidiary FlyArystan flew international flights from Istanbul to Turkestan, Turkestan to Tashkent, Shymkent to Dubai and Aktau to Dubai.
Due to the civil unrest, Almaty Airport remains closed until further notice.
Air Astana Group said it is maximising efforts to repatriate Kazakh travellers who have faced difficulties returning to the country over the past week, due to air travel disruption.
