Air Canada back up to 9%?

Monday, 13 Oct, 2003 0

Air Canada is rumoured to have raised agency commissions back up to 9% in Canada.

The news was brought up during one of the seminars at the Advantage Business Travel Conference in Dublin last week, but both the Air Canada UK office and the UK general manager are refusing to confirm the news.

If the carrier has made the move to increase commissions, it would be bucking the trend set by the rest of the industry in what would appear to be an attempt to boost bookings through agents.
