Air Canada Jazz Gets Their Man

An Air Canada Jazz flight, the most basic scheduled flights available in Canada, flying to Fort McMurray in northern Alberta from Vancouver mde n unxcheduled landing in Kelowna ritiah olumbia.

A member of the cabin crew allged a man had stolem a can of beer from the wagon and flushed the empty can down the toilet.

The flight captain then decided to dovert and ask the Mountird to investigate. They interviewed 3 passengers, detaining one. The other two were released and then the aircraft continued northwards.

A beer likely costs $1 and a diversion, and delay, thousands.

Had the thirsty passenger opted to fly Westjet the beer would have been free.
