Air France-KLM plans to expand IndiGo codeshare
Air France-KLM wants to boost its existing airline codeshare partnership with India’s biggest airline IndiGo.
The current arrangement allows passengers to book through tickets to up to 30 Indian cities.
Air France-KLM wants to expand this to nearby international destinations such as Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh.
“We are working on it to see how we can make some expansion for the international route of IndiGo in the sub-continent,” said Claude Sarre, GM Indian sub-continent.
“It is a work in progress. Demand is high anyway.”
Air France-KLM and IndiGo launched the airline codeshare last year.
Air France and KLM fly from Paris and Amsterdam to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
