Air France/KLM take Amadeus frequent flyer technology
Air France and KLM have introduced the Amadeus Award Calendar technology on their websites enabling frequent flyers to redeem their miles more easily.
Through the award calendar technology Air France and KLM passengers can see flights and dates where they can redeem any accumulated miles.
The system also gives passengers the option to see alternative options within a two month period if their first chosen date is not available.
Amadeus also plans to introduce the technology to other members of the SkyTeam alliance enabling frequent flyers from Flying Blue – the Air France/KLM joint online loyalty scheme – to redeem their miles on flights of other SkyTeam members.
