Air India dropping some US flights
Air India said it will cut some US flights due to crew shortages.
CEO Campbell Wilson said it will halt six weekly US flights for the next three months.
This equates to three less services to both San Francisco and Newark per week.
Air India says it will have 100 more Boeing 777 in three months when they complete training.
It plans to hire about 4,200 cabin crew and 900 pilots this year.
Air India currently has a workforce of around 11,000 people.
It is currently trying to downsize non-operational staff.
It recently announced another round of voluntary early retirement packages for most non-crew workers
