Air Malta to make Liverpool debut
Air Malta is to add Liverpool to its network of UK departure airports from next summer.
The airline is to run twice weekly flights from May 4 with a lead-in of £31 one-way excluding taxes for bookings made before November 10.
Flights will depart on Mondays and Fridays, providing opportunities for long weekends.
Liverpool joins Manchester, Bristol, Glasgow, Nottingham East Midlands and Newcastle as regional departure points for the airline in addition to Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted.
Air Malta UK and Ireland country manager Ray Borg said: “Air Malta operates an extensive regional departure network from the UK to Malta and we are pleased to be able to offer another low cost, full service option for passengers from Liverpool and the surrounding area.”
