Air New Zealand names new UK general manager
Air New Zealand has appointed Jo Copestake to the role of general manager UK and Europe.
Having joined the airline in 2010 as senior account manager, she has held positions across the business including leisure channel manager, online channel manager and sales and market development manager for the UK.
Prior to joining Air New Zealand, she also had a stint at Thomson Holidays and worked at Eurostar and Gulf Air.
Air New Zealand’s chief revenue officer Cam Wallace said: "Jo’s strong airline background and leadership skills make her the perfect fit for the role.
"She has been a real asset to the UK and Europe region over the past six years and has played an integral part in driving our success in this important market."
Copestake takes over from Kathryn Robertson who recently took up the position of Air New Zealand GM Australia based in Sydney.
