Air Transat to resume UK operations
Canadian carrier Air Transat will resume flights to Canada with direct flights from three UK airports.
A three times weekly service will begin operating from Gatwick to Toronto tomorrow with Monday, Wednesday and Friday flights.
On Sunday the airline will take off from both Manchester and Glasgow to Toronto with the Manchester service operating on Thursdays and Sundays.
The Glasgow flights will depart every Tuesday.
The airline will use Airbus A321neoLF aircraft and offer a choice of Club Class and Economy.
Adrian Keating, Commercial Director UK & Ireland said: "Offering flights from airports across the UK has always been an integral part of Air Transat’s strategy which is why we have immediately re-committed ourselves to Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow.
"Air Transat is looking forward to flying Canadians on its transatlantic flights from this weekend, and to welcoming British travellers on board in the near future when restrictions are eased."
