Air Transport and Tourism conference
The Tourism Society is organising a conference on ‘Air Transport and Tourism’ to launch a new MSc programme in Tourism and Air Transport Management at the University of Surrey.
The conference, on Wednesday 11th June, will explore “synergies and parallelisms among the two sectors at present and in the future”.
Dr Marion Bennett will be chairing a discussion on ‘Strategic Issues in Air Transport and Tourism’ with Mr Kevin O’Toole (Airline Business), Mr Peter Morris (IATA), Mr Chris Tarry (Aviation Industry Research and Advisory) and Mr Simon Buck (First Choice).
Dr Andreas Papatheodorou will be chairing a discussion on ‘Air Transport, Location and Tourism’ with Dr Hugh Somerville (Independent Consultant), Dr Nigel Dennis (University of Westminster) and Mr Richard Lewin (Wiggins Group).
The event is organised to launch the new MSc programme in Tourism and Air Transport Management at the School of Management, University of Surrey.
