Vistara inks frequent flyer partnership with JAL
Indian full service carrier Vistara has entered into a frequent flyer pact with Japan Airlines.
The partnership is effective now and allows Club Vistara members to both earn and redeem CV Points on JAL flights.
It covers the JAL network of nearly 80 destinations across 20 countries and regions.
There are reciprocal benefits for JAL Mileage Bank members too who will be able to earn and spend their miles on Vistara operated flights to, from and within India.
"This is in line with our broader strategy of forging more partnerships with like-minded airlines as well as non-airline brands to provide a wider choice of earn and burn options," said Vistara COO, Vinod Kannan.
The FFP partnership is the latest phase of a MoU signed in 2017 to develop commercial opportunities together.
In 2019 the airlines started a codesharing pact which was subsequently expanded earlier this year.
