AirAsia launching KL-Pattaya flights
AirAsia will begin flights from its main Kuala Lumpur hub to the Thai resort city of Pattaya from July 16.
Flights will operate four times a week and to kick off the service the airline is launching promotional all inclusive fares from RM38 one-way for bookings made until May 17 for travel until May 31, 2016.
"AirAsia will be the only airline that connects Pattaya in Thailand, to Kuala Lumpur directly," a company statement said.
It becomes the seventh Thai destination served by KL after Phuket, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Krabi and Surat Thani.
The beach resort city of Pattaya is one of Thailand’s top tourist destinations and is located about 150 km southeast of capital Bangkok.
