The budget carrier said the payment clears all pending accounts flagged by authorities in recent weeks and reinforces its commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance in the Philippine aviation sector. The airline did not disclose the exact amount of the settlement but emphasized that the dues were resolved “well within the required timeframe.”
The development comes after reports circulated suggesting the airline could face possible operational restrictions, including the risk of grounding, if its obligations were not addressed before the government’s deadline.
