AirAsia rolls out book-now, pay-later flight bookings

AirAsia is offering Australian travellers the option to ‘escape now and pay later.’

The budget carrier has inked a partnership with Zip to offer an interest-free credit facility for the cost of flight bookings.

Aussie customers are able to buy flights to more than 140 destinations across the Airasia network using Zip and then pay off the cost in weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments.

"Holidays can be an expensive exercise, even with our low-fares. This is why we’re offering our guests a flexible way to book that well deserved break or spontaneous getaway," said AirAsia regional commercial head, Matana Thienthong.

The Zip option has been added to the AirAsia website checkout.

Account limits and minimum repayments apply and there is a small monthly fee for accounts with an outstanding balance.

AirAsia offers more than 65 flights per week from Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne Avalon and the Gold Coast.
