Airbnb checks in with Flight Centre to capture more corporate travellers
Airbnb has inked its largest corporate partnership yet in Asia Pacific in a distribution tie-up with Flight Centre.
The Airbnb for Business product will be available to book directly through Flight Centre’s Campus Travel and Stage and Screen, and then will be added to the FCm Travel Solutions and Corporate Traveller units.
Flight Centre corporate customers will get access to Airbnb’s inventory of about two million accommodations.
That includes Airbnb’s Business Travel Ready listings which have corporate traveller friendly amenities such as free Wi-Fi and dedicated workspaces.
The Airbnb for Business service was launched in 2015 and now has over 250,000 companies signed up.
The two companies had been in discussions over the partnership for several months and one of Flight Centre’s large corporate clients had been involved in an Airbnb trial programme for some time.
