Airbus announces record deliveries
Airbus delivered 626 planes last year, which was the highest ever for the European aircraft manufacturer. It also attracted 15 new airline customers.
However, it didn’t manage to beat US rival Boeing, which announced earlier this month that it delivered 648 planes in the same period.
Airbus is now claiming a 51% share of the market for aircraft with over 100 seats.
Airbus delivered 493 Airbus A320s, 108 of its A330s and 25 super-jumbo A380s.
