Airline warns of delays due to heavy snow across Europe
EasyJet is warning of possible flight disruptions today due to heavy snowfall across Europe.
Destinations likely to be affected include Brussels, Cologne, Dusseldorf and Zurich.
It suggests passengers check the status of their flight using its flight tracker and allow extra time for their journeys to and from the airport.
The airline has also extended its check in times for ski flights from London Luton and Manchester airports by an additional hour throughout January due to the volume of traffic.
It said these two airports were operating at full capacity and as such there was likely to be congestion at security screening.
"As such, we strongly recommend you allow extra time for your travel through the airport, especially if you are travelling on early morning departures," it warned passengers on its website.
The airline is opening check-in three hours before departures and will close them one hour prior to departure.
