Airport food facility a ‘dirty rat’
Chicago city inspectors found a storage facility at O’Hare Airport was infested with rodents.
The officials closed Gate Gourmet Storage where airline snack foods were served. Pretzels, soda pop and beer were stored there.
City inspectors reported finding more than 1,000 rat dropping throughout the facility.
The warehouse was closed.
Officials say it will not re-open until it gets a new license and passes another inspection.
