Airport parking firm is not misleading customers, says watchdog
Advertising watchdogs have dismissed a complaint against airport parking operator after it sent out two flyers offering customers discounts for pre-booking parking at airports across the UK.
The Advertising Standards Authority said there was no evidence that Crawley-based Airport Parking and Hotels, which trades as APH, had misled customers in the two direct mail shots issued late last year.
The complaint had challenged whether the 15% to 25% savings highlighted in the flyers were misleading and whether they could be substantiated. The ASA said the company had provided proof that bookings made via the specific URL links in the ads had been discounted by the correct amounts.
The complaint was dismissed.
