Airport website offers dynamic packaging
Nottingham East Midlands Airport has started offering online holiday bookings through a revamped website.
The site includes a dynamic packaging system utilising lowest fares offered by airlines using the airport.
Pre-bookable discounted car parking and zero commission on foreign currency purchases are also available.
Development of the website will continue over the next few months with a facility to book accommodation near the airport and the ability to advertise holiday homes and other products.
The site at www.nottinghamema.com features real time flight arrival and departure information, listings of destinations, tour operators and airlines and a virtual tour of the airport.
Visitors can also register to receive regular mailings, updates and offers.
The airport’s managing director Penny Coates said: “The introduction of our new website is part of the airport’s continued development and we are really pleased with the end product. The site is much more user friendly and is packed with all the information customers need to know about the airport and its services.
“The next phase of our investment programme is underway with a complete revamp of the terminal during the winter period which is all part of our commitment to give customers the kind of quality experience they obviously expect and deserve.”
