The Polish ciity of Gdansk has been confirmed as the venue for next year’s AITO Specialist Travel Agents overseas conference.

The event is to be held on June 11-14 at the harbour town and is expected to attract 150 agents.

The group’s chairman Barry Moxley (Traveltime) said:  “Every year AITO Specialist Travel Agents tries to seek out a destination that agents and operators will be attracted to either because it is a ‘new’ destination or because there are undiscovered parts that are not generally appreciated.

“So in previous years we have been to locations as varied as San Marino, Seville, Mauritius, Gibraltar, Budapest and Waterford.

“Gdansk as our choice this year will offer us all a chance to learn more about this up and coming destination.”

Post-conference tours will include Warsaw and Krakow.
