AITO appoints digital marketing exec
The Association of Independent Tour Operators has appointed an executive to handle its digital marketing and PR.
Kyomi Wade, pictured here, joins from an unnamed specialist tour operator where she was marketing manager for 15 months.
She has an English and Creative Writing degree from the University of Kent and is currently completing a CIM Diploma in Marketing.
She has also developed her own travel website and blogs.
"Kyomi will be responsible for raising awareness of the AITO brand, including digital marketing, media relations and social media," said Kate Kenward, AITO executive director.
"She will join Helen Cyster, Bharat Gadhoke, Pam Hersey, Jaime Rampling and me to make up our team of six."
AITO has 124 specialist tour operator members.
