AITO appoints new membership manager
The Association of Independent Tour Operators has appointed Bharat Gadhoke as its new membership manager.
Prior to joining AITO, Bharat was an account manager at Beachcomber Hotels, which owns a selection of luxury hotels, resorts and villas in Mauritius and the Seychelles.
He previously worked as accounts manager at the Mauritius holiday specialist Beachcomber Tours, as a manager at American Express Travel and a team leader at Flight Centre UK.
Bharat will be the key member contact for all enquiries to AITO, where is role will also include seeking out new members.
Executive director Kate Kenward said: "We’ve recently put our entire renewal process online for our members which is quite ground breaking for a UK travel trade association and Bharat is managing the transition from the previous paper-based procedure.
"In general, he’s already making a difference and, via his travel industry background, has established personal contact with many AITO members and potential new members, which is extremely positive and useful."
