A&K appoints new MD
Abercrombie & Kent has appointed Kerry Golds as UK managing director to replace Justin Wateridge who left the company in 2012 to join Steppes Travel.
Golds will join the business on February 18 and report to Ian Coghlan, chief executive of Abercrombie & Kent Travel.
She was previously managing director of Western & Oriental where she led the restructuring which separated the travel company from its parent.
Before joining Western & Oriental, Kerry spent 20 years at Travel 2 where she was a main board member and tour operations director when the business was sold to Cendant.
Coghlan "We have exciting plans for A&K in the UK and I am truly delighted that Kerry is joining and will be bringing her extensive luxury travel experience to spearhead this development."
