Alaska vacations could soon include airport vaccinations
With Alaska’s cruise industry looking at a second full year of inactivity, the state is getting creative to lure tourists. Citing a surplus of vaccines, Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy said visitors will be able to come and get vaccinated. It is ‘probably another good reason to come to the state of Alaska in the summer’ says Dunleavy.
About 40% of residents are already fully vaccinated according to the state health department. Two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be offered at airports. Travellers won’t need to stay in the state for the second dose, and will be able take the second one in their home state when required.
