Alila: Luxury is about space and design
SINGAPORE – Alila Hotels and Resorts is opening two new properties, including its first contemporary resort in India.
The company has opened the Alila Diwa Goa, a 149-room property adjacent to Majorda Beach.
Alila Villas Soori in Bali – it includes 48 pool villas ranging in size from 150 sqm for a one-bedroom villa, to 4600sqm 10-bedroom villa – opens this month.

“I believe there is a trend towards greater space and more privacy at the higher end of the market,†said Mark Edleson, president and CEO of Alila Hotels & Resorts.
“Luxury is now being defined less by specific materials and finishes. It’s more about privacy and comfort enhancing spatial conception and design.”
The resort and spa is a 10-minute drive from the Tanah Lot temple, and less than one hour from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
