All-in drinks deals introduced by cruise line

Monday, 16 Mar, 2009 0

All-inclusive drinks deals are being offered as extras to people booking MSC Cruises’ voyages.

A package including unlimited wine, beer, soft drinks and mineral water is £98 per person for a seven-night cruise.

A second providing unlimited soft drinks and mineral water costs £49 per person.

The drinks packages are not commissionable to travel agents.

The drinks are available in an unlimited quantity during main meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), according to the cruise line.

Passengers can request the beverage packages from travel agents either at the time of booking, or before they set sail or book them on board.

UK and Ireland managing director Giulio Libutti said: “We have already seen a lot of demand for these new packages, which proves we are offering the right products to our customers and responding to their requirements.

“In this time of credit crunch, people want reassurance about the full cost of their holiday in advance. Cruising has always offered great value for money – and we’ve just made it even better.”
