Allergic passenger booted from United Airlines flight because of cat

Yet another passenger has come forward with a story to tell regarding a removal from a United Airlines flight.

Donna Wiegel told NBC she was ejected from a plane because of a cat.

She has a ‘lot of respiratory problems and asthma’ and should steer clear of cats ‘at all costs.’

On seeing the feline sat a few seats away she said: "Oh, that is way too close.’"

She alerted cabin crew and was told she could swap seats with someone sat the back of the plane but decided the cat and its owner should be the ones to move.

At that point she was asked to leave the plane, and was ‘perp-walked’ down the aisle.

"You know, I’m hyperventilating at this point," she told NBC, "almost in a full blown asthma attack."

The incident took place in early March at Baltimore Airport and after an initial online complaint to the airline, did not receive a reply.

The airline told NBC it had since apologized to Wiegel.
